Wendy posts a concert location hint

Well...its almost that time. You probably guessed that the announcement would be coming soon. This time of year is so hard for us staff in the office. We know the concert date and place. You want to know it. Many of you call and ask us where and when. We can’t tell you but we REALLLY want to be able to.

The news is coming-- very very soon. Maybe as early as July 6th maybe as late at July 14th but it’s going to be public news any time now.

A few years ago we gave away clues in the members only portion of the Farm Aid website, the FarmYard. So, I thought it might be fun to do it again. The only good thing to know is that I won’t confirm or deny any guesses in the comments!

The state where we are going has 3 top crops- sweet corn, peaches and blueberries.

I'm Xcited to know where the 2006 Farm Aid Concert will B!!! After reading the clue given, I felt that PEACHES could B a dead give away 4 GEORGIA. I hope that I am correct as it is close to where I currently reside!!! Kathy Colby a.k.a.SHAKEY to my friends online. I wish the best of luck in your efforts to save local family farms so that we can enjoy wholesome, healthy, fresh produce from local markets. I just moved from the country to the city and surprisingly, the produce is fresher in the city. The country scene has monopolized the produce industry and the foods available are less than desirable. It offended me Bcause the local farmers in the area grow awesome fresh fruits and vegetables but, the local stores refuse to carry them. It is an absolute slap in the face to the community that this is allowed to continue.

A ferry ride away from Philly???

  3. I'm guessing the Tweeter Center.. or somewhere along the Camden Waterfront, NJ... possibily Philly.. but i'm guessing the waterfront.. what would this mean for me, you ask? :) It would mean that I wouldn't have to drive for 12 hours like the last time i went... it means that I LIVE IN NJ........... yayyyyyyyyyy I'll be crossing my fingers! :)
